Still looking for Frederick and Sally Buck, born about 1800

Hello. As Frederick Buck came from Pitt County, I am thinking he could have been a grandson of Issac Buck, one of the founders of Pitt County.
My question is, who were Frederick's parents? I have read that Issac had 10 sons and three daughters, so I feel sure he had left many descendents.
Also, I have tried finding a marriage record for Sally and Frederick without success. I have been to Salt Lake City and checked the records there. I was told by the folks in Salt Lake City that there were apparently not any formal records for marriage at the time in which Fred and Sally Buck married.
I found Frederick buying and selling some farm land in the 1820's and 1830's. The Frederick Buck family was in Tennessee when their youngest daughter Sarah was born in 1839 but all the rest of their children say North Carolina.
If anything rings a bell, please feel free to contact me at MissLata@sbcglobal.net.
I am the great great great grandchild of Fred and Sally Buck, formerly of Pitt Co. North Carolina and later Shelby County, Tenn.
