If you still need directions to the Shivers family cemetery, I can provide you with them. My mother was Lovie ( Harris ) Manning, grand daughter of Amos Shivers and daughter of Gay ( Shivers ) Harris daughter of Amos Shivers. Directions to the cemetery are: In Winterville at the intersection of Hwy 11 and Hwy 903, go south toward Snow Hill for about 3 miles to the intersection of Hwy 903 and Red Forbes Road. Turn right onto Red Forbes Road and go approx. 1/4 mile to the first driveway on the left. It is unpaved and circles through the field to the cemetary. only about 100 yds or so, probably can see it from Red Forbes Road. The property is owned by Hennis Shivers, who lives at the second drive on the left off Red Forbes Road.
