KING BLOUNT in Pitt County 1600s-1700s?

Who was "King" Blount that owned land in Pitt County,NC in the 1600s and maybe 1700s.
Is this a real person or a fictional character that was said to be a friend of Blackbeard the pirate.
This has to be an interesting story.

I am looking for more information on a Joshua SWAIN who married Elizabeth Blount March 1, 1753 in Chowan, NC.
Was THIS Elizabeth Blount the daughter of Benjamin and Afraca/Affie Smithwick Blount?
I have come across at least THREE Elizabeth Blounts from that area of NC in the 1700s-1800s.
Thanks for any CLUES!!
