I have the index to Grantor land deeds of Pitt Co. and have the following "early" Turners:
Abraham (1800 to 1821) on the Tar River, Gum Swp, and the Plans Br.
Issac (1809 to 1817) on the Gum Swp, Miry Br, and S. Pain
Jacob (1809 to 1828) with a etux in 1828 on the N. Gum Swp, Pain Br. and the Arkansas
Another Jacob in 1838 (probably to son of the earlier Jacob. on the Gum Swp.
John (1815 to 1823) on the S. Tar R., and the Bee Tree Br.
William (1794 to 1824) on the Bee Tree Br., S. Tar R., N. Gum Swp, S. Pain Br., Pine Br.

There was no Moses Turner.
How ever William Turner did sell land to a Moses Turnger in 1824.
This could be a spelling erorr.

These are all of the Turner's in the Grantors index be for 1850

Does anyone know any thing about these TURNER's
