Wm. House Whitley and Alif Mean or Mead

Wm. House Whitley and his wife Alif MEAN or Mead left Pitt Co., in 1851 for Florida.
Wm House Whitley was the son of John Whitley of Pitt. We believe that John was married to a daughter of William House (hence the name),
however, we do not have proof of this marriage.
Any one re-searching this family?

One record says that Wm. H.'s wife Aliff was a Mean and one says Mead. We are looking for proof either way.

There was a connection between Aliff and the Bithel and Wyley Bullock familiy. Does anyone know of a connection either between Whitley and Bullock, Mead and Bullock, or Mean and Bullock.
