I am looking for ancestors of Lacy Hattaway / Lacey Hattaway born 1796 in NC, married to Elizabeth "Betsie" Teal in Jasper Co., GA in 1825, lived in Campbell (now Fulton Co.), GA 1830 until Lacy's death in 1884. The name Lacy has been handed down in our family several generations and one of my cousins suggested that perhaps it was our Lacy Hattaway's mother's maiden name. Teal and Hattaway families are also listed in early Pitt Co., NC recors (1762-1810+).
I would appreciate any information. I have been searching for both Elizabeth Teal and Lacy Hattaway's parents for 17 years. They were an amazing couple.
