Here's some more information on John Lillington, first husband of SArah Porter.
John Lillington of Beaufort county dated January 19 1721/22 proved July 2, 1723
Son: Alexander Lillington 1,000 acres of land, 2 Negroes, family Bible.
Daughters: Elizabeth, Mary, Ann
Wife: Sarah Lillington Exec: Maurice Moore, John Porter, John Baptista Ashe
Wit: Patick Maule, Samuel Cooper, John Tranter
Source: Will of Joshua Porter Bath County January 17, 1733 Sept. 14, 1734 Wife: Dorothy Son: John Peyton Porter Daug: Elizabeth Cousins: John Fry, Elizabeth Fry Bros in law: Patrick Maule, Seth Pilkington Brother: Edmind Porter
Reported that Elizabeth daug. of John Lillington m. 1st Thomas Fry 2nd Partick Maule 3rd James Lockhart. Ann appears remained um. Ann may have m. Richard Evans she left land Onslow county to sons Richard and George and named a daugher Mary Evans.
