Joel Braxton born 1800 in Pitt County

I have traced by direct ancestors back to Joel Braxton born in Pitt County, NC about 1800 and he married Sallie Braxton in Pitt County, NC about 1820. I know he had at least one son, Warren Braxton and I think he also had a son named Felix. I have not been able to trace back beyond Joel. Does anyone have any information about Joel, his family, or his parents?
