Hello Connie,
I started searching my Cannon Line in 1986. I ask Dad a lot of questions. He said he would help me because he would like to konw who his ancestors are. He was the one that started my search. I stopped searching for many years. I really got into it when my Dad went home in 1996. I have searched hard in the last 4 years, it has become a everyday hobby for me now. My Cannons where from Ayden also, down around Chicod School to Contentnea Creek area. Highway 102 and Cannon's Crossroads sets between Chicod School and Contentnea Creek. It's in a 5 mile radious either way. I have found a lot of first and second cousins sence I have started my search again. We talk on the phone a lot just trying to catch up on the years we missed.
