Webb/Sparks early 1800's Bedford, NC

My g-great grandmother Elizabeth (Webb?) b. ca 1805 in NC (possibly Bedford, Pitt Co, NC)along with her husband (Sterrett?) John Sparks (b. ca 1802) were in Pickens Co., AL
in 1850. In 1850 John said he was born in SC, in 1860 he said KY. Elizabeth listed her birthplace as NC in each census. In the 1850 census his son James (b ca 1827) said he was born in TN and son John (b ca 1830) in Ga in the 1860 census they both listed KY. His children Mary A, Eli,Manerva C, Catherine, Didamy or Dilaney or Didany, Matthew, and William H were all born in Alabama, so they were in AL by 1836. I have searched for years but I have never been able to trace them back further. This family was in Pickens Co, AL for the 1850, 1860, and 1880 census but I have not been able to find them in the 1870 census.
Any information you might have on Elizabeth Webb Sparks would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tonya Sparks Reep
