Person County tax lists for 1792 to 1844 online

When I posted before, I hadnít realized that each of the image sets called Wills, Inventories turns out to be Wills, Inventories & Taxables. I havenít checked them all, but it looks as if a complete series of tax lists from 1792 to 1844 might be put together. Here is that link again.

I have followed some family names on tax lists for Halifax County, Virginia, over a similar period and recommend this as a means of finding families between censuses and distinguishing between people of the same name. Person County may give even more information than Halifax does because Person was divided into a greater number of tax districts.
