Patsy, Finally, I've had time to track down your message, join GenForum and get back to you. I'm delighted with the information you sent me in Feb, I have a bit that might help:Anna Mitchell (daughter of Alexander) married J. H. Lunsford (b. Person Co.) in 1834. He and HER PARENTS moved to Hopkins County in 1836.
There was in my grandfather's family an "Aunt Matt" Mitchell, there may be a name connection.
I do hope we can stay in contact, I'd like to get this back further. I live close to Hopkins Co, and can eventually go there to look for something if you'd like to give me a track to head on.
