Hello Deloris and other interested folks,

In your data, the mentioning of John Fox and his brother, William Fox as being apprenticed by Phillip Black and Henry Black is incorrect. The data transcribed by Katherine Kerr Kendel was a mistake. The names of the apprentisors were Phillip Burch and Henry Burch. I had worked quite a while with the Black family to see what the connections could have been with my ancestor, John Fox, without any insights at all. When I actually got the original court record, I found that Mrs. Kendel had misread the data. She was a wonderful researcher, but this one mistake can be attributed to her.

Very best regards,

John Fox
