Karen, I would like info on Henderson Black born 1806 in Person Co. For years we thought he was the son of Robert and Lucy Gill Black who married in 1792. We found in the N. C. records where they had 4 children, but Henderson was not one of them. Robert died about 1802 and the info so far shows Henderson traveled with Lucy to Tn. He married in Williamson Co. Tn. then moved on to Calloway Co. Ky. and lived there untill his death in the 1880s. He lived next door to Lucy in Ky. and she gave him land as a gift with her son Hardy. I need to know if Henderson could have been a nephew of hers. I do not beleive her children were old enough in 1806 to have a child. Lucy had a sister and brother Patsy and Will Gill, and Robert had a brother William that could have had a child and Lucy raised him. I need to find Henderson's parents.
