I don't have a specific church in mind, but these 10 churches would have been around when my ancestor was born (assuming I have the right county):

)Bethel Hill Baptist Church, began as Mayo Baptist 1776, became Bethel Hill Baptist 1779
)Concord United Methodist Church 1815
)Ebenezer Primitive Baptist Church 1793
)Flat River Primitive Baptist Church 1750
)Leas Chapel United Methodist, probably the first church in Person County, built before 1776
)Long Memorial United Methodist Church, 1822
)Mt Tirzah United Methodist Church 1778
)Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of Hurdle Mills, 1786
)Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Presbyterian first and known as the Barnett Meeting House, about 1760
)Wheelers Primitive Baptist Church, 1791
