I have not worked much on this line of my family. But I have found out what my Holloway connection is. Martha Pryor SMITH's parents were Charles A. SMITH and Caroline Estelle HOLLOWAY. They were married 18 Oct. 1847 in Person Co., NC. I have a copy of their license, but it does not list either of their parents' names. The bondsman was Henderson STOVALL and the witness was Charles MASON. Both Caroline and Charles were 17 years old.

I do not have the names of their children, mainly because I have not taken the time to look for them in census records yet. One relative told me (I have no source for this) that Charles A. SMITH's father was John Pryor SMITH, which might explain the Pryor connection. I had hoped that would be on the marriage license.

I'm sorry not to be of more help. If I come across anything at all, I'll let you know.
