Hi,
I have a William Bates Jones,b. 1836/7 possibly near Durham, WAke Co., but he joined the Civil War in Roxboro, Persons Co., NC. I am assuming the family moved to Persons Co.. A William Jones family is listed on 1850 census that may be my William B. but I just don't know. Do you know if your Martha could have had a brother named Nat or Nate (possibly short for nathan or Nathaniel). My William came to TX after Civil War, joining Texas Rangers. Appreciate any data on Jones.

Gay
