There were a large number of Burch families in the area of south Hyco Creek in Caswell Co in the 1780's, some of whom were living in the area that became Person Co. Most started migrating westward from the late 1790's onward, but a few remained. Would welcome any help in sorting out the early members of the family. Has anyone done any work in original county records? I have used the published books of abstracts of Caswell and Person county records, but they leave many unaswered questions.
