Would anyone with a copy of the Heritage Of Person County please do a lookup for me?
I am trying to research a Capt William Sargent of Person County, NC. He was named as "William Sergant" in the will of James Pulliam, d. 1799. William moved with his family to KY and was in Woodford Co., KY by 1806 with a family of 10. Of James children, a dau, Ann m. John Sargent in Person Co in 1797. A son, Byrd Pulliam m. a Rachel Sargent as his 2nd wife in Person Co.
I descend from John and Ann Sargent.
Jim Sargent
