I have found records that show john bennett and his wife Rose and their children John Jr.,Thomas,Jean and Elinor coming into the county 1701 and land deeds up to 1733. Then marriages in tyrell co. 1766 of grandchildren luke and sarah and william bennett. then next to martin co It is very confusing as the county lines keep moving. Is there anyone researching the Bennett line in these areas? I live in KY and have traced this line from N.C.,to AL, to Ark. to Texas and other locales. I would like to find out what has happened to the bennetts in N.C. and where they came from and who John Bennett's father was. Thank you.
