The 1860 census of Bladen Co., Cypress Creek area, household/family number 227/227, has a John C. Boswell, age 34. His wife is Mary. They had a daughter name Mary J., age one year old. That is all I know about this family other than their daughter named Virginia, age two listed in the same census, married James B. Barnhill.
