Scotty,

My Great Grandfather is Christopher Columbus Croom. I have been told by other family members that Major Croom is one of our relative. I have hit roadblocks on determing the family connection, but was told that Major and Abel came over and settled in Pender County.

I have Major Croom being married to Olief "Olive" Avery. He could have been married twice, not sure. I have that there were 10 children one being Major, Jr.

Be glad to help you with any information that I may have
