Seeking information on Christian Melissa SMITH (b. abt. 1855) who Md. Nathan C. WILLIAMS. In 1880, the couple was living in Canetuck TWP, Pender Co., NC with two boys.One, Hamilton WILLIAMS, whose mother was Mildred Bordeaux, first wife of Nathan C. WILLIAMS; and the other was John WILLIAMS, son of Melissa and Nathan. Hamilton WILLIAMS is buried in the FLINN Cemetery, Pender Co., NC. In 1900 Nathan C (age 80)and Melissa (age55)WILLIAMS resided in Ransom TWP, Columbus Co., NC (HH:85). Living beside them in HH:84 was Willie WILLIAMS, Abbie J (Wood), Bruce T(Thomas)., Nathan H(Harley), and Henry. About 1902, Melissa md. James B. WALKER.

Was Willie Thoms WILLIAMS a son of Nathan C. and Melissa?

Melissa WALKER died in Columbus Co., NC at age 73 in 1856.
Her death certificate listed her parents as Owen Sarah SMITH. She is buried at Livingston Chapel Cemetery, Columbus Co., NC.

Who was Nathan C. Williams' father? Where is he buried?
