I descend from William Lemuel Wilson b 1795 Paquotank Co., NC, married Nancy Jane Cory 1822 and was in Madison Co., IN by 1830 and Cowley Co., KS by 1880, where he died in 1884. I believe his father to be either John or William Wilson who are on the census rolls for Pasquotank, near Corys and later I believe that my ancestor and his wife's brother appear on the census as well, before going to IN.
Is there anyone out there that knows anything about this family?
