Dear Linda,

Have you checked Census records yet? If not, I have a copy and will be happy to check for you.

I also have several other books that I will check for you.

I noticed that you have the last name of Martin. My direct line great, great, grandmother was Pauline Angaline Martin. Her parents were Elijah "Lidge" Martin, who married Ferebee Paul. I have been trying to figure out who Elijah Martin's parents were. Do you know of any Martins in the Pamlico or Craven Co., Beaufort Co., area that I could write to or call for any more leads? We will be down there vacationing in two weeks and would love to meet them and share everything I've found to date!

I sincerely appreciate any help you might be able to offer. Since, I reside in Indiana researching can sometimes become extrememly costly.

I have the following surnames in my family,
BANKS, BENNETT, BRIGHT,CATON, DIXON, GASCOIGNE OR GASKINS, LEE,OR LEIGH, MILLER, PAUL, RAWLS,ROWE STAPLEFORD, WARREN, WEST, WILLIS
