Dear Cathy,

I can post the information on the Holton Family Bible for you. I also have recently been given a lot of information on the family of an early Holton ancestor by the name of Thomas. He had several children. I keep this type of research on floppy disks. So, I will find it and send that information to you. I also have a couple of Holtons that married into my Bennett, Dixon, line. I have Bennett and Dixon cousins that have much more information on the Holton's that is documented. I was too interested in this line because it did not tie into my direct line.

I can provide email addresses for you privately. Please email me directly at for more information on the Holton line.

Do you know who David's parents were? I have a lot of Reel information as well. Please be sure to check Mildred Reel Buck as an author for more genealogy on the Reel family. I have a copy of her book REELSBORO, written in 1992. She has also written another titled ANTHONY BUCK FAMILY. I think there is one other and I can't recall the name of it.

The Craven County Library would be a good place to start.

Mildred has the Reel line all the way back to Peter Reel. The first known ancestor of your Catherine Reel.

I hope I can be of help!
