I haven't checked this post for a long while until just this past week. I just now caught your post. We are connected through Pauline Stapleford. Pauline Stapleford, had a sister Alice Stapleford. Alice Stapleford, married Needham Gaskins. Their son, Ozias Gaskins married Elizabeth Paul. -
Alice Stapleford and Needham Gaskins, are my great, great, great, grandparents. Ozias Gaskins and Elizabeth "Bettie" Paul, had a daughter by the name of Emma Bryan Gaskins. Emma married Dudley Bennett. They are my great grandparents. Their daughter Lessie Bryan Bennett married Charles Early Dixon. My grandparents.
I have much more to share with you on the Staplefords. The research was done by me. It was done by a Jane Stapleford Phillips, Jane resides in Kinston.
There are Holtons that have married into some of my family surnames.
There is also information listed in the Pamlico Cemetery Book Two on the Holton Family Bible Register.
