Well my curiosity got to me so I did a little more work...

Gillie Francis Dixon married William Rone Wallace and they lived and she died in Merrimon Township, Carteret County, across the Neuse River from Oriental between Adams Creek and South River. Her death certificate says she was "buried or transported" in Merrimon. Date of death was shown as 1/29/1925. So that would be the next place I would look if I were you. BTW, I saw another post you made (if you are Suzy Bennett)that named her parents, so I'm pretty sure I have the right person. Probably aren't many Gillie Francis' around How is Major related?
