Thank you very much for this information. I'm not sure if he would be the right one or not. The Major Dixon I'm searching for supposedly was born abt. 1856. The death date seems right though.

About Gillie/Gillian Dixon, would you please check and see if possible, that she may be buried with the Tingles? Her father was John Tingle. The 1920 census says that Major Dixon is divorced, living with his son.
