I am originally from Arapahoe and both sides of my family have been in that area since 1600's. I have some scattered information that might be of some help and you may be able to help tie up loose ends for me. I have a Riley A. Harper mar. to Maryann Willis b. 2/14/1825 married 3/18/1852. Is this the right Riley. I have no history on him but my mother's maiden name was Willis and I have lots of info on her. I do not list their children.
I have Tolotha Jane Harper b. 2/18/1869 d, 5/7/1897 mar. Hertford Lawrence Roberts. According to Pamlico Co. North Carolina Cemeteries by Dixie Willis, she is buried in the Roberts Cem. in the Bairds Creek area. I have one child listed, Sarah Alice Roberts. Is this the right Tolotha and is she the daughter of Riley?

6. Daniel Lee Harper b. 6/29/1895 d. 11/8/1935 buried Dixon Cem., Grantsboro according to Pamlico Co. NC Cem.
7. Ora Harper 9/16/1897
Is this the right Samuel W. and is he the son of Riley?
The only Sarah that I find was born Sarah Elizabeth Harper b. 10/24/1896 d. 10/3/1906.
I have William Riley Harper b. 12/9/1860 d. 2/8/1932 mar. Cora Frances Price b. 7/12/1869 d. 10/14/1930, both buried Harper Cem., Arapahoe. Children:
1. Thadeous Coleman Harper b. 11/29/1899 d. 1/26/1950 mar. Margie Taustina Lee.
2. Ferdinand Maclendly Harper b. 8/28/1891 d. 3/23/1940 mar. Mollie Powell
3. Okla Harper b. 10/8/1898 d. 9/5/1952 mar. Churchill Martin
4. Sarah Elizabeth Harper (same as above)
5. Mollie Mae Harper b. 12/14/1903 d. 11.20/1968 bur. in Harper Cem., Arapahoe mar. Erban Jackson Brinson
