We're trying to find the family of James R Potter who married Maggie Elks in Chicod on Mar 6, 1910. The Pitt County marriage record lists his parents as J.W. Potter and Susan A. Potter. Witnesses were W.D. Potter and A.D. Boyd. The 1880 census lists a Wilder Potter / Susan A Potter household in Township 1 in Pamlico County. Does anyone have any information about this family that you could share with us?
