Dear Ben,

It is good to hear from you. I checked my notes and I found in the 1850 & 1860 Craven Co., Census that Benjamin Rice and Elizabeth Banks, had a daughter by the name of Nancy Rice. She is listed as being 4 years old in the 1850 census. She is listed as being 12 years old in the 1860 census.

I haven't had a chance to check the Pamlico Cemtery Book yet.

Now, I have a question for you? When I was home visiting this past summer I was told that there was a gentleman by the name of Mr. Potter that looked after the Price Cemetery off of Scott Town Rd. He was sort of an overseer of this property for Ms. Rhodie Dixon, who is now in her early 90's.

I was wondering if you were this individual? If so, I have questions about that cemetery and the land surrounding it.

My great, great, great, Uncle Charles Stewart Dixon is buried in the Price Cemetery.

You may e-mail me directly at SuzyandWes@msn.com. I'd love to hear from you.

Respectfully yours,
Suzy Dixon Bennett
