Vikky, I know of no connection between the Stroud and Wilbourne families. They are both in my maternal line, the Strouds in my maternal grandfather's and the Wilbournes in my maternal grandmother's. The only info I have on Isham Stroud is that he d. 1792 Elbert Co., GA. Very Little info on Jeremiah Willbourne: he probably came from Edgefield Dist., SC to Taliaferro Co., GA; he m. Sarah Hudson, b. ca. 1785, probably dau. of Wm. Hudson, nothing more. There might be a connection because both of these families were in the same general area of Georgia. Have nothing on Stroud Wilburn of Wilkes Co., NC ca. 1800. KRB
