there are 2 walter mcgee's father and son. i am desended from emily mcgee b. 1845-46 in carroll co va. her father was alfred mcgee and her mother effie stoots. alfred was born 1820 son of walter and sarah hunt mcgee. there several alfred and walters in different generations of the same family. hope this will help
