Jane was a sister of Thomas and Catlett TINNIN and of Eleanor TINNIN, the wife of Joseph CLARK, who were among the heirs of Carnes TINNIN, who died 1816 in Granville Co., NC (Granville Will Book 7-662 and Deed Book 1-172). That means she was the daughter Jennet mentioned in the 22 Feb 1830 Orange Co. will of Robert TINNIN (pr. Feb 1836 WB E-375), wife unknown.
James CLARK wrote his Orange Co. will 25 Feb 1850 (pr May 1854 WB G-146): son David T, dau Nancy and Letitia CLARK, Susan Jane CLARK d/o Daniel F, grandson John K HUGHES. Executor David T CLARK and son-in-law Ezekiel C FORREST; wit. John BANE & William CLARK.

Caroline M was daughter of Alexander ANDERSON (20 Mar 1797-1884) and Susan THOMPSON (1801-1882), both buried at Eno Presb. Church.

Lettice was a daughter of John ANDERSON Jr. (10 Mar 1735PA-1806) and Lettice STUART or STEWART.

The Hillsboro Recorder: Died, William CLARK 9 Jul 1858; "his wife died in 1832, leaving him with 5 children, one of whom pre-deceased him."
One child not mentioned by the newspaper was Stuart CLARK, mentioned in his ANDERSON grandpa's 1806 will; Stuart must have died young. An inventory of William's estate was performed 1858 by James P CLARK and John N CLARK, and shares of the estate went to them and to William H ELLIS and John WILKERSON. The 1850 Census of Orange Co. (North West Division) shows William with four unwed children: James P, Patsy, Betsy and Jane. Thus William and Letty's children were:
