My 3rd G Grandmother was Mary(Polly) Ray born Sept.1,1802 in Orange Co.,NC.Her parents were George Ray & Martha Robinson.She married Brice Jackson in Oct.22,1823 Orange Co.They were married by Bradley Collins.I have a copy of a will document dated March 11,1837 of Martha Ray,wife of George Ray,It lists Bradley Collins as her son-in-law.Also lits daughters:Martha Ann Jackson(wife of Anderson Jackson),Polly Jackson,Jenny Collins,Sally Hopkins,sons: Michael Ray,James Collins(James could be a Grandson?),another son-in-law Cuza Hopkins & Granddaughters: Martha A.Collins & Martha D. Hopkins.Do you have anything on the Ray family to share? Please email me.
