I think that our family may be connected, My ggggrandfathe was Alexander Clendenin who md. Mary C. Freshwater on the 10 Sept. 1811, in Orange Co. NC. They moved to Scott Co. Va.
ca. 1834 and then to Vernon Co. Mo. in 1852.There is a John Patton buried next to their son, my gggrandfather John Clendenin. So these families must be related, please contact me at TDsherron@cs.com
