Stephney Hogan, 1800s NC & Eliza Howell, 1850s Mansfield, LA

Hello,
I am seeking information on Stephney/Stefney (sp.?) Hogan and Eliza Howell. Stephney had a son named Henry and a daughter named Eliza or Mary Eliza. Henry was born in 1836. Henry and his family stayed in the Chapel Hill, NC area.

Eliza was born around 1829. She seems to have made her way from NC to Mansfield, LA, acquiring the surname Howell somewhere along the way. Eliza married Jackson McLaughlin/McGlocklin. However, he took her surname at that time. They had 1 daughter and 8 sons. Their names were Levi, Paul, Albert, John, Elias, Nathan, Robert, Celia or Celie, and William Howell. The family remained in the Mansfield, LA area until at least the 1880s.

Any information would be very appreciated and I would be more than happy to share my information with anyone interested.

Thank you,
Charlotte Stanley
