Ann, I have been checking on several different people in Lauren,S.C.lately. I have a connection to David Nelson who md. Isabella Craig in my Nelson line. I also had my male Nelson cousin do a ydna test for our Nelsons. Some of the names I was checking on was Joseph L.Irby,John McHarg,Thomas Burton,Edward Parker,& William Irby. All of these other names are surname matches in my Nelson dna along with the name Austin. I do not know what connections they have. My g.grandfather was a William Columbus Nelson born abt. 1851 in either N.C. or Va.. He md. 1st to a Mc Harg. in Greene Co.,Tn. They named their 1st son Austen, who later changed his name, himself; to John Williams Nelson b.1879 in Tn. There has to be a connection there somewhere,I just don't know where or who.
