I am a descendant of George Miller (d. 1792) of Orange County, N.C. and am interested in the connection to Gayen Miller of Pa. George and his wife Susannah were Quakers and are presumably buried in the Eno Quaker Burying Ground outside Hillsboro,Orange County, N.C. I would like further information on his possible involvement in the Provisional Congress which met in Hillsboro. There is an excellent article on the Eno Valley Quakers by Mary Claire Engstrom, entitled "Early Quakers in the Eno River Valley ca. 1750-1847." The article appears in "Eno," the publication of the Association for the Preservation of the Eno River Valley, and can be order from them. Address is 4015 Cole Mill Road, Durham, N.C. 27712.
