There was another school house in Stump Sound, on the road from Holly Ridge to the Sound, on the left just past the road that leads to Stump Sound Primitive Baptist Church. It was on the left just before the original site of Providence Baptist Church, on the right. The cemetery for Providence is where the old church sat until after WWII. My father Lester Lee King attended the school. There were, and may be large old trees at the location.
