Michele, I am a Robinson descendant from Onslow County and with ancestors from Jones County. We don't have a family tradition of having Indian ancestry but I think we do. I have been asked, in my old age, if I am Native American by strangers on the street. I am also a Taylor & a Marshburn descendant & I think both of those lines may have some Indian heritage. I am thinking of having a DNA test done soon. The brother of a friend (a Rhodes) had his done recently and the results said he had 15% Indian genes. (Our name is frequently called "Roberson").
