Onslow County, North Carolina

In the name of God, Amen: I, Daniel Williams (Sr.) of Onslow County and State
of North Carolina, being of sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be God,
do this 15th day of March and in the year of our Lord 1813, do make and
publish this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say;
First I give and bequeath to my two sons Daniel (Jr.) and Nathan Williams the
hole of the land where I now live, the land to be halved or divided when my
son Daniel Williams (Jr.) comes of age at twenty years old which there is one
hundred and fifty acres more or less, to them and their heirs forever, unless
any one of them should die without a lawful heir of their bodys, it is my
desire that the other should have the hole of the land, only a reserve of one
half of my cleared land to my beloved wife Asenath Williams, it is my desire
that my beloved wife Aseneth Williams should keep the hole of my cleared land
during her widowhood, then only one half of my cleared land to my beloved wife
Aseneth Williams enduring her natural life, also I lend to my beloved wife
Aseneth Williams two Negroes by the name of Seller and Rachel, enduring her
natural life, also I lend to her one mare Sharlot, one horse Dolphin, two cows
calves, two yews and lambs, all my hogs and all my household furniture and
plantation tools and riding chair and Chars, enduring her natural life.

I give to my son Daniel Williams (Jr.) one Negro boy by the name of Jack, one
mare by the name of Nancy, one feather bed, to him and hairs forever, unless
he should die as before mentioned then this property is to go to my two
daughters Asenath and Fanny Williams, also I give to my two sons Daniel and
Nathan Williams one hundred acres of pine land joining Thomas Henderson line
and Will Williams line, this side of the Mill Swamp fifty acres a piece, also
I give to my two daughters Asenath and Fanny Williams a Negro girl by the name
Veney, one Negro boy by the name of Charles, one by the name of Luce, it is my
will that these three Negroes is to be equally divided when my daughter
Asenath marries or comes of age, then and their increase also I give to my two
daughters after my loving wife's death, two Negroes by the name of Seller and
Rachel them and their increase to be equally divided to them and their heirs
forever, excepting any one of them should die without a lawful air of their
body, it is my desire that the other one should have the hole of the property
and after my loving wife's death, I give to my son Nathan Williams and to my
two daughters Aseneth Williams and Fannie Williams, all my house furniture,
stock, cattle, horses, hogs, sheep to be equally divided among them three,
also it is my will that my son Daniel Williams (Jr.) should have his half of
the land and the other property that is left to him at twenty years old, then
he acts fore hiself, it is my desire my son Nathon Williams should act fore
himself at twenty years old also it is my will that my loving wife should keep
the hole of the property to school and raise the children until they come of
age, it is my desire that all my just debts should be paid and I hereby make
and ordain my worthy wife Aseneth Williams and Thomas Russell and my son
Daniel Williams (Jr.) when he comes to be old enough to act, shall be my
executors of this my last will and testament.
