Laverne, I can't seem to see your e-mail address. Mine is I would be delighted to correspond with you. David Franklin Aman was a son of William Aman who was probably the youngest son of Philip & Sarah Aman since he got the homeplace & they were prone to ultimogeniture. (The Philip Aman who died in 1829 in Onslow County). I believe he was brother to John Aman (b.c.1751-d.bef 1818).I have struggled with this line b/c I have had to most of it online (as opposed to pains-taking poring thru original documents researching my own line) but I have that John Aman was the father of James, Archibald, Lavinia, Celia, Pamela, & John. Is this correct?
E-mail me & I will give you David Franklin's descendants.
Do you have very many of Philip's 15 children? I have accounted for 5 or 6 of them but only one of the daughters.
