This Lewis THOMPSON is also of interest to me in my searching for WILLIAMS in Onslow Co., NC. While seeking
information on Elizabeth Williams and her children: Lewis WILLIAMS and Sarah WILLIAMS, I found that her dau., Sarah, is mentioned as the wife of Lewis Thompson in an Onslow Co., Deed of July 1811.

Deed record:
Elizabeth WILLIAMS gave to her grandaughter, Ann THOMPSON, d/o Lewis THOMPSON, and the rest of the lawful heirs of the body of my daughter, Sarah THOMPSON, wife of Lewis THOMPSON, and my son, Lott WILLIAMS, to see that Sarah and her children have my possessions, heretofore mentioned.
29 July 1811.
Tests: James Glenn, Thomas Battle

My Stephen WILLIAMS of Onslow Co., NC md. Esther SHACKLEFORD, but does not have an Elizabeth Williams. However, Eliabeth Williams and Lott Williams were involved with land that was bought by sons of Stephen WILLIAMS, Sr. namely, Hezekiah WILLIAMS of Onslow Co., NC and Nathan WILLIAMS of Wilmington, NC.(my ancestor). Would appreciate any help in identifying Elizabeth and Lott WILLIAMS.
