Leresa, do you know if your Cason Capps is related to the Cason Capps that appears on the 1850 Onslow Co. census? That Cason Capps was apparently born in 1805, and might be a son of the Cason Capps in your husband's family? If so, I'm wondering if that Cason Capps was brother to Thomas Capps, who appears just above Cason on the 1850 census.

Thanks.
Keith Buck
