Thank you for responding. I have visited Isabella's grave site. It is located in the woods, surrounded by a field behind the old Marshburn store in Richlands. Not far from the Trott furniture store. In the early 1990's the Richlands Boy Scouts cleaned up the area soon after I discovered the gravestones. At one point all of that land belonged to John and Isabella. I have a survey of the land from 1844 and from the late 1700's. A matching survey is also at city hall in Richlands, although the property has been parceled out to various owners over the years. I also have John's will and Sally's will copied from the archives at Raleigh. That same area also has the gravesites of Isabella's parents James White and Thursa and another one of their daughters.

What William are you refering to when you mention he may be John's father? John had a brother named William, so there may be a connection there.
