Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The available information you are looking for for New Hanover County and Pender County is available at the New Hanover County Library, main branch, in the North Carolina Room. New Hanover County has deeds and other records for what is now Pender County thru 1875 when Pender was formed. There have been changes in the Pender/Sampson County lines since that time. Deeds from New Hanover Co. are scheduled to be available on-line sometime in June 2011. You could contact the Register of Deeds office for more information about this. As to Vital Statistics, I don't know if these will be on-line or not.
