Seek fellow descendants of Wilmington, War of 1812, Artillery 4th Sgt. Joshua, James, Sr., who wed Hetty-Bella Sage. He died Richlands, Holmes Co., Miss, 1851, age 71. Hetty died Lexington, Holmes Co., Miss, 1845. I descent his son born Wilmington 1811; 1850's Holmes Co. militia LtCol Robert Wm. James, died Biloxi, Miss., 1882. Son John Sage James was editor and publisher of the Wilmington "Star". Daughter Mrs. Sarah Julia James McIntire, wed Kenansville, N.C., merchant Andrew McIntire. Son Joshua James, Jr., buried New Orleans, owned "Ione" Plantation, defunct "New Carthage", La., opposite and downriver from Natchez. James A. Miller, Jr., 4978 N. Hampton Dr., Southport, N.C. 28461-7420.
