I'm in the same boat you are. My gggg gm was Anne DeROSSET from the New Hanover, NC area. I'm told by a cousin they lived in the Wilmington area. We have nothing else on them. There was a Dr. Armand and Lewis DeROSSET/DeROSSETT that lived in the area too at one time but we have never been able to connect to them. Anne was m. to John COLVIN. I descend throught their dtr. Mary who m. John Gambier SCULL. Their dtr. Mary Catherine SCULL m. my gg gfr. John Mills VERNON. Hope you find who you're looking for.
